Accepted & Not Accepted Items

Items We Accept (and What to Leave at Home)​

As a dedicated children’s consignment event, we only accept items related to children and adolescents that meet the following quality guidelines: 
 

  • Items must be seasonally current, clean, odor-free, and in excellent condition with no stains, holes, pilling, tears, missing buttons, broken zippers, or signs of heavy wear.

  • We reserve the right to refuse any item that doesn’t meet sale quality or is unlikely to sell. Every item will be inspected during drop-off. Items that do not meet our standards will NOT be accepted on the sales floor.

  • Items must be properly tagged, packaged, and hung. Items not meeting tagging or hanging requirements will be turned away.

Clothing (Check for seasonally appropriate clothing below)

  • Girl & boys sizes newborn to kids sizes 0-16.
    (5 -18gal. totes maximum, double-sized totes count as two bins)

  • Jackets - spring or lightweight fleece

  • Light weight fleece sleepers (NO maximum for fall sale, but 5 maximum for Spring sale)

  • Shoes, boots, sandals, swim shoes, etc. (maximum 10 pairs)

  • Hats- (baseball, beanies, etc. (maximum 5)

  • Bibs (maximum 5)

  • Undergarments - underwear, bras, tights, socks, etc. (new only)

Bedding

  • Large bedding sets (maximum 1 set)

  • Crib bedding

  • Baby or Toddler/Lap Blankets

  • Sleeping Bags

  • Throw pillows or children's pillows

Furniture

  • Cribs, bassinets, pack 'n plays, etc.  (no drop side or recalled)

  • Beds - bunk, twin, toddler

  • Children's dressers, vanities, night stands

  • Children's table and chairs

  • Changing Tables

  • Toy Boxes

  • Children's chair or couch

  • Children's bedroom decor

Media

  • Books - baby, chapter, parenting, etc.

  • DVDs or Blueray (G, PG, PG-13 permitted only)

  • Board or handheld games

  • Puzzles

  • Video Games (rated teen or less)

  • Cameras - baby monitor, toy cameras, etc. 

Outdoor Equipment & Toys

  • Tents, forts, etc. 

  • Bikes, ride-on toys, scooters, etc. 

  • Helmets, cleats, knee pads, etc. 

  • Sport equipment - balls, bats, hockey sticks, etc. 

  • Child-size basketball hoops, soccer nets, etc.

  • Small playsets

  • Climb-on structures/toys

Baby Items

  • Car Seats & bases (All carseats must NOT be expired or expire within 1 year of the sale and NEVER been in an accident or recalled. Expiration Date needs to be written on the tag)

  • Strollers, wagons, etc.

  • Highchairs, booster seats, potty chairs, etc. 

  • Swings, exersaucers, bouncy seats, jumperoos, etc. 

  • Baby gates, pens, gaurdrails, etc.

  • Playmats, activity centers, sit 'n spins, boppy pillows, etc. 

  • Diaper pails, bags, cloth diapers, paper diapers (full packages), etc. (See our Diaper Drive initiative for partial packages of paper diapers or pullups)

  • Feeding Supplies - bottles, nipples, pacifiers, sippy cups, plates, bowls, utensils, teethers etc. (new)

  • Baby carriers, wraps, etc. 

  • Nursing covers, pillows, breastmilk supplies (new), etc. 

  • Bathtub (must have original warning label attached)

Toys, Crafts, misc. 

  • Any toy that children will play with (with all pieces, batteries included, nothing broken, etc.)

  • Crafting supplies, kits, equipment, etc. 

  • Lego sets, mega blocks, building toys, etc.

  • Dolls, doll equipment, doll accessories, etc. 

  • Nerf guns, bullets, targets, etc. 

  • Baby toys - rattles, push toys, shape sorters, music toys, etc.

  • Action figures, character toys, etc. 

  • Stuffed animals (must be a popular character - Mickey Mouse, Spiderman, etc. or be a toy-type stuffy that plays music, light up, etc.)

What is acccepted at the Spring & Fall Sales?

Clothing (NO regular clothing accepted at the TOY Sale)

  • Girl & boys sizes newborn to kids sizes 0-16.

  • Jackets, Snowpants (Limit 5 per Consignor)

  • Boots, Dressy Christmas shoes (Limit 5 pairs)

  • Hats, mittens, scarves (Limit 5)

  • Seasonal Clothing: Winter, Christmas, Valentine, St. Patrick's day outfits or pajamas (Limit 20)

  • NEW Undergarments-tights, holiday themed socks, etc. (Limit 5)

No Bedding or Room Decor allowed
at the Toy Sale

What is accepted at the Toy Sale In November?

ITEMS ACCEPTED

We will not accept: 

  • expired or recalled items (find a list here: www.cpsc.gov/recalls)

  • drop-side cribs

  • bumbos with no straps

  • fisher price rock & plays

  • car seats that are expired or will expire within 1 year of the sale or that have been in an accident

  • vending machine/carnival game stuffed animals

  • clothing - women's, mens, maternity, etc. 

  • crib bumpers

  • bathtubs without original warning label attached

  • used sippy cups or utensils

  • used bottle nipples or pacifiers 

  • used breast pumps

  • used socks, underwear, tights, bras
